Yeon “Yen” Thomas
Since joining Waller & Wax in 2005, Yeon’s role has evolved as the practice has grown. She saw opportunities for improvement and efficiency and utilized her diverse talents to enhance the practice. Yeon ensures the office workflow is running efficiently, oversees quality control, and keeps team members informed and focused. Yeon also manages human resources, special projects, and collaborates with Jon to assure the work stays true to the practice’s mission.
Yeon provides oversight for the office’s day-to-day operations and special projects and gives valuable recommendations on improving processes within the practice. Yeon also serves as the point of contact for community involvement initiatives and special events. She is passionate about helping the practice continuously improve and evolve.

In the local community, Yeon has served as co-chair for the Avila Charity Tennis Tournament for several years. In this role she is responsible for event details and is involved with selecting a locally-based, children’s charity which receives proceeds from the tournament. In 2018, the Avila Charity Tennis Tournament raised nearly $200,000 for Pepin Academies, a tuition-free, public charter schools that serve students with specific learning and learning related disabilities.
A native of South Korea, she graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts focused in public relations and women’s studies.
Yeon and her husband, Kyle, love spending time with their son, Henry and daughter, Parker.
