When the PGA Tour comes to Tampa for the Valspar Championship, the energy is electric. But the real story extends beyond the competition on the green—it’s about the powerful wave of generosity that lifts our entire community.

At Waller & Wax, community involvement is more than just a talking point; it’s our foundation. Our partnership with the Valspar Championship is a natural fit, celebrating an event that aligns with our mission to give back.

A Tournament with a Heart

Unlike most professional sporting events, the Valspar Championship is run by a nonprofit, Copperhead Charities. This means every ticket sold, every sponsorship, and every volunteer hour directly fuels their charitable mission.

This year’s impact was staggering:

  • $1.64 Million generated for local causes.
  • 100+ Charities in Tampa Bay received support.
  • Nearly $53 Million raised for the community since 1977.

Connecting with the Cause

To truly understand this impact, you must see it up close.

This year, our own Jon Wax was proud to continue his tradition of joining the “Paint the Town Positive” Charity Caravan. Alongside tournament leaders, he traveled across Tampa Bay to visit a dozen benefiting organizations.

More than just delivering checks, the caravan is a chance to connect with the incredible people on the front lines including volunteers, staff, and beneficiaries whose lives are directly improved by the community’s generosity.

We believe that a strong community is the best investment we can make, and we are more committed than ever to supporting the events and organizations that help it thrive.
